Disinformation and multiliteracy: A systematic review of the literature

Disinformation is a serious problem for democratic systems in open societies. It global phenomenon that must be studied from different approaches and the educational dimension one of most relevant. necessary to know what models have been developed empower citizens against disinformation. A systematic review literature (2011-2020), following PRISMA protocol, was carried out by analyzing articles (n=76) extracted three databases (Wos, Scopus ERIC). Reference management text mining software used data analyse. Eight research questions were answered on conceptual framework, bibliometrics characteristics pedagogical dimension. From results content analysis emerges vision role multiliteracies disinformation: media information literacies are relevant news incorporated. The need adopt interdisciplinary confirmed. dimension, identified: strategies competencies development; focused education citizenship. Workshops lesson plans common teaching practices. development critical thinking, experiences co-construction knowledge, values civic fundamental El problema de la desinformación es una amenaza para los sistemas democráticos. Es un fenómeno que debe ser abordado desde múltiples perspectivas, siendo pedagógica las más relevantes y, por ello, necesario conocer qué modelos didácticos se han desarrollado empoderar ciudadanía ante desinformación.
